While I’m training for a marathon I like to do Spin as one of my cross-training. Today I did a 45 minute Spin class that had me working and sweating like never before. I love the challenge of pushing myself to become better. When doing Spin I get my heart rate up and build my endurance. I like the variety of drills we do like a tough cadence as if we were climbing a hill, in and out of the seat drills and all out sprints.
The music definitely helps some times. Some say that 45 minutes isn’t long enough for cross-training but I couldn’t disagree more. I think every workout should have a purpose and when they do I stick to it. If it’s for endurance then I don’t hold back. I tell myself “Yes U CAN” when thing get tough. If it’s for recovery then I know to not push too hard. Try it. You’ll like it!
